This is cool, our good friend and mega-producer, Steve Thompson is getting another producer award from a hall of fame. Last July/August, we met up in Vegas to celebrate the Rogodz hall of fame honoring steve, for which I created this video mix of his accomplishments related to that awards show. Check it out:

Burning Man 2013

So I really really had a fantastic time this year at Cargo Cult, the theme for the 2013 Burning Man festival in Black Rock City, NV. Things were great and here’s a clip of the fantastic man sculpture burning. I took this photo the week prior to the event on the Playa. As you can see the smaller artist’s rendition was much the same, however the slides where not as far out as planned.   Read more…

Holograms, Avatars, Eazy-E and more. 2013 Rock The Bells Hip Hop Festival Sept 7-8

This was interesting because I had just heard all about it at the Independent Music Summet (Indiefest) in Burbank where the folks putting on this event including all the hologram ‘virtual performances’ where discussing how they did it all in the conference. It was interesting to hear the manager stories from back when all of the hip hop music started and what has gone on in the world of managment since. Thanks to IESummit for Read more…

Deck the Halls with Boughs of HollyWOOD! – Xmas Parade 2012 featuring minor celebrities and balloons

Hollywood boulevard was shut down like I’ve never seen it before and it felt like a ‘Macy’s Parade’ or something with all the giant Smurfs and Toy Story characters. Not to mention the minor celebrities driving in cars, like Natasha Hentstridge (the chick from species) and our friends from Dangerous Minds, that eerie weird show that takes CSI to a weird place, but is kinda more interesting at times. TV WHAT? there were people from Read more…
